| Description of the problem | Yamaha super tenere, 2013, ~ 7k miles, rear brake losing pressure - not working at all; abs light coming on intermittently. Nearly killed myself, having to make an emergency stop on a dual carriage way, when i first found out...! Yamaha dealer performed all diagnostic steps - replaced caliper seal kit, rebuilt master cylinder etc at massive cost. At first, diagnostics indicated that it wasn't the abs pump but, having excluded everything else, dealer says it can only be abs... New abs pump |
