| Description of the problem | Bracket holding front engine access panel door fell off while driving down the highway. My tires ran over it and part landed onto busy highway surface at 65 mph. Unable to retrieve the part due to risk on road. The part is simple glued on with no bolts or fasteners. This has happened 4 times on my coach-3 on passenger side and once on drivers side. Dealer reports this is not an uncommon repair for them. They replace the bracket several time a month on winnebago coaches. Safety risk for me, my tires, the cars behind me both initially and until the part is removed from road. I have spoken to winnebago and they will warranty replacement and installation of the part. They take no other responsibility for the failure. |
