| Description of the problem | Our rv is now having the second wheel speed sensor replaced. The rv has 14000 miles on it. The first time the technician told me that he replaces them frequently on the rvs. When the sensor fails the abs and the esp fail. The brakes sometimes pump themselves, which is extremely dangerous. I did a search on this problem and it is widespread. The mercedes manufactures the chassis. A search on sprinter rv with abs failure turns up 20 or so complaints about the same part failing. The problem renders the vehicle dangerous to drive. The initial failure occurred when we were driving at over 60mph and starting down a steep mountain, thanks |
