| Description of the problem | Water heater scald operator the vehicle and the description of the problem is the same as that described in nhtsa no 15v758000. Rv has atwood on demand water heaters. The affected water heater is resulting in user being scalded. Winnebago and dealer (lazy days) have been made aware of problem on multiple instances and were requested to correct. Manufacturer and dealer refused to seek a solution to problem and has only provided temporary, non working solutions. Vehicle purchased new on 09/30/2016 and problem persisted since. Vehicle has been with dealer 6 times between 09/30/2016 and 09/01/2017 for this problem. Still not fixed. Hot water on 2 occasions caused piping to melt and burst, flooding the vehicle. |
