| Description of the problem | The full-wall slideout on my 2014 winnebago forza 38r opened while coach was in motion. I was able to pull over and stop without incident. I found the front of the slideout fully extended and the rear out about half way. I used the slideout switch and a series of retract/extend actions to bring it back in. The slideout aligned itself and fully retracted as a result of these actions. The unexpected deployment happened at 55 mph on a two-lane road. There was a 25 mph left-to-right cross wind with severe buffeting as trucks passed in the opposite direction. A subsequent inspection of the slideout mechanism at a winnebago dealer found no broken parts and operation to be normal. |
