Defect summary	Winnebago industries, inc. (winnebago) is recalling certain model year 2015-2016 winnebago sightseer, vista, and adventurer motorhomes manufactured august 1, 2014 through august 31, 2015, and 2015-2016 itasca sunova, sunstar, and suncruiser motorhomes manufactured august 1, 2014, through august 31, 2015. The affected vehicles have electrically operated entry/exit steps that may extend down and out while the vehicle is moving.
Consequence summary	If the steps extend while the vehicle is being driven, the steps may strike a person or another vehicle, increasing the risk of injury or a crash.
Corrective action	Winnebago will notify owners, and dealers will replace the step switch connections at no charge. The recall began on february 12, 2016. Owners may contact winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-3535.
