| Description of the problem | every time the car is started the warning light shows that the parking brake is engaged. I never use the parking brake. I have talked to the dealer and they say that the parking brake pedal needs to be "hand lifted" to clear the warning light. When i tried this it did clear the warning light from the dash. My question is why would my parking brake be engaged if i never have used the parking brake? It may just be some malfunction with their warning lights or sensors, but how i am i to know if this is a real parking brake warning? |
