Description of the problem	When accelerating from a stop in the 2018 vw tiguan it hesitates for approximately a few seconds before moving forward. This occurs at all times when accelerating into the lower gears 1-3. Once past gears 1-3 the vehicle operates normally. This is extremely dangerous when trying to merge with traffic or pulling out on the open road. During research i have found this is a common problem with various years of the car model and has yet to be addressed by vw. Please help, i fear for my family to be in this vehicle when this occurs.
