| Description of the problem | Sunroof spontaneously exploded with a loud bomb-like sound. I was driving on interstate 80 in west sacramento, ca toward downtown. The sunshade was closed and caught the gravel-like pieces of glass. As i pulled off the road, the glass continued to crack into more pieces and collapse into the shade. 75% of the sunroof glass was gone, leaving a large whole in the roof when i stopped, inspected, and called for a tow home. |
