Description of the problem	I received a letter informing me that my wife's vw routan had a recall on the win module / ignition. I set up an appointment to have the recall taken care of. The vehicle was there for two days and i was told they couldn't get the parts and to come pick it up. When i got home i researched the recall and found that the ignition can turn off while driving. Since then my keys have gone bad which needed to be replaced at a cost to me and i still don't have a date that parts will be received. The vw corporate office was unable to give me an estimated date in which they could get the new ignition to a dealer for the recall. The vw has now been sitting in the driveway waiting for repair for over 3 months. The corporate office just wants the dealership to diagnose what caused the keys to stop working and won't answer my questions about the recall. The vehicle is unsafe for my wife and children to travel in.
