Description of the problem	Turbo failed without warning on the highway and i was unable to maintain the speed limit. This occurred in a vehicle that had the tdi emissions modification. The problem occurred a second time after a warranty repair at vic bailey volkswagen and appears to be an ongoing problem that is related to the emissions modification. The first failure occurred approximately 20,000 miles after the emissions modification, and only 1300 miles after the previous failure and replacement of the turbo.
