Description of the problem	While driving the vehicle at varying speeds the transmission will just stop engaging causing me to have to come to a stop, put the vehicle into park and restart the ignition. I have taken the vehicle to 2 different vw dealerships and have been told that the gearbox has gone bad and my whole transmission needs to be replaced which would cost roughly $6100. This all happened just outside the 70k mile warranty. I have attempted to contact vw numerous times but have encountered 2+ hour waiting times just to talk to someone. Online research has show that this happens to almost all of the 2013 jetta hybrids but no additional recall has been made to fix this issue.
