| Description of the problem | I have been experiencing a sudden & complete loss of power while driving between 0-40 mph on numerous and continuing occasions (2010 vw eos lux). The problem started at about 60,000 miles, lasts about 4-5 seconds at a time, and occurs randomly. Perhaps the most common speed during the occurrences is about 25 mph. Because the vw dealership cannot replicate the problem, they refuse to take any action. I have complained about this dsg transmission during my entire ownership (original owner). I have always believed it was defective since it has always had an unreasonable and significant lack of acceleration or turbo lag (0-5 mph). I purchased the vehicle in oregon and now live in southern california. |
