| Description of the problem | Driver's seat airbag is defective. This was discovered when the vw dealer repaired the steering wheel airbag on recall. I've researched the seat airbag and taken to an independent master auto mechanic who told me the wiring to the seat airbag is getting caught on the drivers seat track. Definitely, an assembly design defect that vw refuses to acknowledge. There is an internet full of identical driver's seat airbag issues. |
