Description of the problem	My wife was turning into a parking lot when the engine suddenly made a noise and lost forward power. She was stuck in the middle of an intersection and could have been killed! We spoke to our mechanic and he diagnosed the problem as a failed timing chain tensioner. This caused the engine valves to impact the pistons and caused catastrophic engine damage. We paid $2706. 25 to buy a used engine and $1500 in labor for the installation. Our mechanic said this is very common with this engine and that he see this happen with engines that have low mileage. Our had 80125 when this happened.
