| Description of the problem | Vw eos with 22000 miles; dsg transmission operates erratically; when accelerating from a stop car initially accelerates then slows, as if in neutral gear, then bangs into gear and accelerates. Erratic and violent downshifts have also been experienced causing occupants to be restrained excessively by the seat belts. Difficult to demonstrate this behavior consistently. Dealer initially described actions as: "normal for dsg transmission". Repeated complaints to dealer led to transmission components being replaced. This resulted in some improvement but erratic shifting continues. |
