Description of the problem | Underbody protect shield on passenger side has torn off four times under normal driving conditions. The most recent (12/23/2016) on interstate 80 driving west in nebraska resulting in pieces breaking off onto oncoming traffic. Car was traveling at posted speeds (app 75mph). Roads were clear, no rain, good highway conditions. This has happened three times previously and vw supposedly "fixed" at the owner's expense. |
