Description of the problem | My fuel tank had unexplained damage to the fuel neck which caused the need for the entire tank to be replaced. The damage caused the gas pumps to shutoff and making fueling the vehicle unsafe. The tank and neck are one unit. The dealer nor the manufacturer can explain how something like this could of occurred. The car was never in any sort of accident nor was there any signs of damage elsewhere to the vehicle. |
