Description of the problem | "takata recall" we contacted our local volkswagen dealer over 6 months ago to get our airbag recall taken care of. To date, the problem has not been resolved or even placed on the schedule. Our local dealer has blamed vw corporate the entire way. We are going on vacation july 14th-21st 2018 and reached out to vw corporate for help in the way of a loaner vehicle. After an hour and a half on hold, they have not come up with any suitable options. They are refusing a rental car and can not guarantee that our car will be fixed before we leave. We do not feel safe in this car and we've been driving it daily because we have no other choice. Our children will be in this card during vacation and vw doesn't seem to care. |
