Description of the problem | Takata recall i have bought a pre-owned 2013 vw cc from a dealership earlier this year (feb/march 2017). I was not notified of any open recalls or that there might be one. Since finding out about the recall, i have been trying to set up an appointment with vw dealers around me, but was told that there are no fixes available and that all i can do is wait for the fix to be implemented. I am not sure what to do at this point. I have consistent 1+ hour drives and i am not comfortable with the knowledge that there is an active recall for a serious issue for the vehicle i rely on daily. Additionally, i am not able to trade in the car due to the recall, unless i accept unreasonably low offers. |
