Description of the problem	I have received 3 safety notices regarding the takata air bag since late 2015 when i came into ownership of my vehicle (vw cc) for which i have been unable to have replaced. After speaking with a rep from vw of san bernardino on 4/25/17, i was informed again the part needed to perform the replacement is in short supply with no time line on when it will become available. I was also told takata is not actively releasing the part needed for the recall and that i would be notified whenever it becomes available.
