Description of the problem | I'm an active duty service member (army) and my name is [xxx]. I am servicing my vehicle out of the vw store located in columbus ga. My concern is that i don't feel safe driving my vehicle due to a recall. I have recently purchased a vehicle that is under the recall for the takata air bag for the driver side. I have contacted my local dealer that i stated above and spoke with the service manager. He informed me that part to fix my car is not schedule to come in until june 2017. Furthermore, he also made it clear that it was not possible to provide me with a loaner/rental until the parts came in.
