Description of the problem	Takata recall: our car has a takata recall. We do not feel safe driving or having our 17 year old daughter driving it. No rental or loaners have been offered. According to customer service at vw customer care the nhtsa is not requiring them to offer this. We cannot afford to rent a vehicle indefinitely (there is no timeframe for repair), recall states the problem could result in death, it seems illegal not to have a safe car provided until a repair is available.
