Description of the problem	Nhtsa recall number: 17v509. Manufacturer recall number: 20ae. Fuel pump control module. I heard about the recall in august of 2017 and a letter was mailed to me october 2017 about the recall. It has been almost four months since the letter was received and the parts still are not available for vw to correct this. My vehicle has been losing power while the vehicle is in motion which has almost caused vehicle accidents on several occasions. It is a major hazard and very dangerous to myself and others around me when it happens each time and needs to get corrected asap. I'm filing this because the manufacturer (vw) has failed to remedy this safety hazard in a timely manner and they are unable to provide me with a date that it will be resolved. Meanwhile, i drive every day and the risks of an accident increase each and every day due to this problem.
