| Description of the problem | Takata recall i bought my car in 2015 at the volkswagen dealership in oakland california. First of all, i never got the notification that my car has a recall. Second of all, i am graduating from college and leaving the country (never coming back) in april this year, and i have to sell this car asap. The dealership told me that with the takata recall my car can only sell for half of the price that it is worth. This recall is not my fault nor my responsibility. The car dealership basically told me that i'm screwed. The volkswagen official website says that they cannot predict when the remedy will become available. I'm just wondering, why is it me that have to pay the price? |
