Description of the problem | I leased this in vw cc sport 2010 and then purchased it form vw so i was the only owner to date for this vehicle. Several times since ownership the battery has died caused by several reasons. The doors were able to open but not the truck. I pulled down the back/rear seat to pull the emergency release handle in the trunk but could not reach it so i had to crawl into the trunk to pull the handle. The trunk should be able to be opened manually without any power/electricity needed. I am presuming this may be a defect in wiring diagram/schematic that causes this issue. This issue may also be a safety defect as some people may not be physically bale to crawl into the trunk to pull the emergency release handle to open and retrieve items needed. |
