Description of the problem | 2010 volkswagen cc, 2. 0t engine, auto transmission, with just under 13,000 miles. When i first start the car i can idle forward with no problems, but after it's warmed up i start getting very jerky forward movement from a stopped position. I tried putting the car in d and s, but get the same results. From a complete stop, i take my foot off the brake pedal, and don't touch the pedals at all, just let the car idle forward. I notice that the rpms drop from about 900 to about 800, then shoot up to about 950, the car jerks forward, then stops again as the rpms drop back down to about 800, then back up to 950 or 1000 as the car jerks forward again. Eventually, it smooths out and starts rolling forward, but it's extremely annoying and potentially dangerous. |
