Description of the problem | Significant hesitation and juttering, vibration, and acceleration lag when starting from a stationary stop. Issue also occurs when starting from a slow or virtually stopped condition. Vehicle wants to cut out (engine appears to want to shut down) before lurching forward while gently accelerating. The issue is hazardous when parking in parking lots because there is no finesse on slow speed acceleration. This issue is challenging when traveling in heavy traffic at slow speeds. This issue also occurs when slowing down from highway speeds as the engine appears to cut out before recovering to a normal resting revolution. Dealership has confirmed with vw that this is within "normal operating expectations", there are obvious problems with the vehicle's gearbox that i wish vw would solve. |
