Description of the problem	I am a u. S service member stationed overseas. I will be serving overseas until november 2021. While driving on the autobahn with my family, i got on the left lane to pass a vehicle next to me. When i hit on the accelerator, out of the blue, my vehicle seems to lose power and the epc code on my dashboard started flashing. The vehicle started choking and slowed down instead. In confusion and the loud honking from the vehicles behind and next to me, i turned my hazard lights and switched to the far right lane. I immediately contacted the local vw dealership in germany and was informed that there was a recall on my vehicle for the fuel pump module and takata airbag but it could only be done in the states. I contacted omsc and they informed me that there was nothing they could do and i would have to contact vw america. When i contacted vw america and told them about my situation, i was informed i would have to wait until 2021 when i return to the u. S. I am worried for my safety and that of my family driving this vehicle. Any help would be appreciated.
