| Description of the problem | Around 8/8/18 i popped my hood to give a guy a jumpstart & smelled gas. Thought that was as odd so with the hood opened i started the car. When i returned to look under the hood i noticed a stream of gasoline coming out of the top of the high pressure fuel pump (bosch mfg: 06h127025n sku: 3649). The dealership said that the retaining clip on these fuel pumps at the top of the connector are known to be weak and give out causing large fuel leaks. I |
