Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2010 volkswagen cc. While driving approximately 25 mph, the vehicle shut off without warning. The vehicle was restarted, but the failure recurred several times. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that the fuel system failed and code number: p2293 was located. The dealer also informed the contact of two open recalls: nhtsa campaign numbers: 17v509000 (fuel system, gasoline) and 18v148000 (air bags). The contact stated that the manufacturer did not notify him about the recalls. The manufacturer was made aware of the failures and promised to call the contact back. The contact was not called back. The vehicle was not repaired. The failure mileage was approximately 125,000. |
