Description of the problem | Interior head liner cloth has come completely loose and obscuring line of sight thru rear window. The car is garage kept it is 10 years old with less than 73k miles original purchaser owner. Wife pulled it from garage and as she was backing the headliner cloth let go from roof molding. I believe we are not the only ones experiencing this the dealership said the parts have to be backordered due to demand and had stated there was another customer beside ourselves with the same issue. This is very expensive to replace total cost is looking to be 2k. The entire assembly is so large that the rear window has to be removed to install. I believe substandard adhesives and other materials were used in the manufacturer of this items. |
