Description of the problem	Tl* the contact owns a 2009 volkswagen cc. The contact received notification of nhtsa campaign number: 17v509000 (fuel system, gasoline); however, the parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. While driving 75 mph, the vehicle stalled without warning. The brake pedal was applied, but failed to respond. The vehicle was able to restart and stalled again. The contact pulled the vehicle over to the side of the road and turned off the engine. The vehicle was towed to a local dealer (volkswagen north scottsdale, 7001 e chauncey ln, phoenix, az 85054, (480) 538-4700) where it was diagnosed that the fuel pump needed to be replaced.
