| Description of the problem | 2005 vw beetle, began slipping out of gear and the final straw was in fast moving traffic and it slipped out completely, was nearly killed! Found out the transmission was shot at 97,700 and apparently this happens quite a bit with these vehicles, to replace is $7,500. Thousands of complaints online, ntsb won't say if or what they are doing about it. |
