| Description of the problem | The check engine light on my manual-transmission 2007 toyota yaris will intermittently come on for a period of several hours up to several days before shutting off. This has been occurring for several months now. Sometimes when the light is on, the car accelerates on its own. It also may stall, or the engine will rev really high without the gas pedal being touched. I brought it to a mechanic that replaced one of the sensors, however the problem persists. |
