Description of the problem	On the toyota yaris 2007 the accelerator sensor assembly is made of plastic. As i would go around corners the car would not accelerate even if i pushed the pedal all the way down. The car would become a virtual slug then accelerate quickly. Because of the poor design the electric connections cannot make good contact going around corners, up hill or from a dead stop. This almost caused me to be hit several times. I took it in to be repaired ($215. 95) yet being of plastic it can happen again. This defect has caused some to believe the car is accelerating by itself when in reality its simply stalling (bad connection) then kicking in to accelerate -
