Description of the problem | I own a 2009 toyota venza v6 fwd that has an engine knock everyday when it is first started. The service department at capitol toyota explained the noise was normal. I find it hard to believe toyota would make an engine that sounds like a diesel before it warms up. I contacted toyota who backed up the dealers claim which i again find unacceptable. There is a service bulletin to fix the issue but both the dealership and toyota corporate state the noise has to be excessive enough and that all v6 toyota engines do so. $34,000 for a car that sounds like a tractor. I'm seeking legal advice. |
