While driving various speeds, the vehicle would suddenly go into limp mode, the check engine sensor indicator illuminated and the vehicle reduced speed and would not accelerate past 30 mph. The vehicle was taken to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the secondary egr valves were faulty due to corrosion and moisture and needed to be replaced.
