Description of the problem	Check engine light came on. Codes indicated failed secondary air intake valve. Took it to dealer who said i was one day outside of extended warranty. No warning of any consequences of not immediately addressing. Driving home on interstate truck truck suddenly had several warning lights start to flash and would not accellerate above 35. I was trapped in substantial truck traffic with nowhere to pull off and couldn't even climb hills without power decreasing further. Found out this intentional. Truck was put in "limp" mode by programming. To restrict speed and accelleration without warning for a nonessential fault which is not a threat to engine operation is insane.
