| Description of the problem | The amplifier for the ac/heat controls broke. I need it fixed as the truck is not usable in southeast arizona without ac. Toyota put the amp in this model behind the dash. This was wrong and they changed it fairly quickly. To repair this model requires an additional $1,200 of cost beyond that of the broken part. I spoke with toyota and have a file number. They won't do anything to help with this cost or an electronic work around. This is a real safety issue. The vehicle can be driven but it is a death trap and this is caused by poor engineering. Attach is the request i sent to toyota. |
