| Description of the problem | Tl* the contact owns a 2007 toyota tundra. The contact stated while driving at an unknown speed on a curvy road, the accelerator pedal became stuck in the open throttle position. The contact depressed the brake pedal and the vehicle would decrease in speed momentarily before independently accelerating again. The contact was unable to maintain control of the vehicle and crashed into a guard rail. The vehicle bounced off the guard rail and the contact felt the accelerator pedal release. The dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated neither the dealer nor the manufacturer would acknowledge the failure potentially could have been caused by a stuck accelerator pedal.
