Description of the problem	I own a 2007 toyota tundra double cab limited 4x4. I started noticing rust developing in my truck box in march 2011. I reported it to toyota in canada as the vehicle had been imported from the usa into canada from the previous owner back in 2007. I was told that i would have to contact toyota usa for corrosion warranty. When i contacted toyota usa i was told that there was currently no recall for the issue i was experiencing and i would not be covered under corrosion warranty because my truck had been exported out of the usa. It was not until a few years later i was told by the local toyota dealership that there was a recall for this exact issue as well as an issue of frame rusting. I contacted toyota canada to see if my truck would be covered. I was told that once again this was an issue that would have to managed by toyota usa. I contacted toyota usa and was told that i was over the 5 year unlimited mileage as well my vehicle had been exported from the usa so either way it would have not been covered.
