Description of the problem	You already have other complaints about tailgate failure on 2007 toyota tundra trucks. I have read about them and seen the pictures. I have personally contacted toyota motors to get a safe weight maximum for this tailgate and they have twice refused to provide this information. In their latest correspondence they claim the tailgate has no rating as it is not a weight bearing part. This contradicts their own website where they sell a bed extender accessory that is used to increase the capacity by using the tailgate as a weight bearing part of the truck. I would appreciate any assistance you can provide to force toyota to reveal the safe tailgate weight limits. *cn
