| Description of the problem | Issues with toyota's secondary air intake pump seems to be a major issue. Since 2007, now toyota has control over the necessary parts and will release as they seem fit. I have waited over two weeks to get these parts and installed. And the dealership says they have no idea how long it will be could be weeks. They know that the pump has issues and will not fix the problem till it goes bad. And if your driving down the interstate and you lose power that could be a safety issue. My truck broke down in my driveway as i was pulling out to go on a 3000 plus mile road trip. Wish a recall can be ordered to fix the issue before hand. |
