| Description of the problem | I am the owner of a 2007 toyota tundra and while driving cross country with my wife and 2yr daughter the truck automatically went into limp mode while driving 65 mph and stopped dead almost causing an accident. Trouble codes were pulled and found to be air injection valves for emission control upon startup only . This was midway thru a 2300 mile trip. Truck has 67000 miles on it and it out of warranty so cost to me is between 4000-5000 $. Truck should not enter limp mode while driving as it is just a matter of time before an accident occurs. |
