| Description of the problem | I purchased 4 new tires from bf goodrich dealer in minnesota on12/9/2015 they mounted and balanced and installed the tires. Then on 9/01/2017 i had a rear passenger tire explode and come apart at highway speed. I brought the damaged tire back to the dealership which installed them and contacted the manufacture only to find out that the tires the dealer sold me as new tires had a manufactures date of 09/2000 that meant that the tires where over 15 years old that they sold me as new tires and i believe that is ultimately the issue of the tire exploding causing a very serious situation and i was wondering what type of action as a consumer i can take to rectify this situation. Thanks and have a great day. *js |
