| Description of the problem | Vehicle acceleration - have a toyota tundra 2006 and it had accelerated on its own. I was very lucky that i pressed both feet down on the brakes and turned the vehicle which made me go up on a sidewalk. I thought i was going to hit a wall but it did not. I then came home and called the place that we purchased the truck and was told to bring it in for another recall and that they would look at it. Upon picking up the truck we were told that they did not see anything that would have caused the acceleration. I now see that toyota is having such a problem so i wanted to report this. I am just so happy that i was not on a highway. I have two small children and i am now so worried about driving this truck. |
