| Description of the problem | The secondary air injection pump has failed, resulting in the limp mode condition of the truck. The truck has lost climbing power and will not be able to drive more than 45 mph. I have been told that there was a recall for the same problem in the second generation tundra's. The toyota dealer has given a $2200. Estimate to fix the problem. Is there, or was there ever a recall for the first generation tundra's with this problem? And if so, is my tudra included in that recall? Thanks. |
