| Description of the problem | I have a 2006 toyota tundra and on 4/5 i was driving on the freeway and my brakes did not stop the vehicle, i had to use my emergency brake to stop. Repair shop said that it the master cylinder was leaking brake fluid and i also needed new front brake pads and rotors. I had the car fixed at my own expense. Toyota has a recall for certain 2006 toyota tundra master cylinders leaking however when i called toyota customer service for reimbursement they said that my particular 2006 toyota tundra was not covered under that recall. Last year i had the brake line leaking fluid x 2 causing my brakes not to work. |
