| Description of the problem | Toyota tundra 2005 - when braking the front end shudders and moves back and forth. When front braking system was inspected the rotors had warped. Toyota issued a 2005 repair notification that brake rotors were warping but did not pose a safety problem. Toyota recommended repairs require replacement of the rotors, calipers, and brake pads. There is no guarantee that this will resolve the problem per the repair notification. My vehicle continues to shudder when applying the brakes with potential loss of control at highway speeds. I have not had the recommended repairs done since the estimated cost is $2200 per my local toyota dealer. |
